BKC Brags and Wins

This page is meant to showcase the achievements over the years, however small or large, of all the dogs (showing or not) that own BKC members.  There may even be a human accomplishment or two among them!  Congratulations everyone!!

BKC members, get busy bragging!  ALL years are welcome, not just recent ones!

  • New Championship! On April 15, 2006, at the Atlanta KC show held in Perry, GA, Specialscots Blue Bayou ("Blue") finished his championship with his 4th major -- and before the age of 2, no less!  He is proudly loved and catered to by Donna and John Noland and the two resident Airedales, Walker and Dosi.  Since then, Blue has enjoyed the freedom of "just being a dog" WITHOUT marathon grooming sessions.

  • Blue Noland (Ch. Specialscots Blue Bayou) kindly gave a permission to his humans, BKC Members Donna and John Noland to take pictures of his handsome self.  It turns out that the Blue loves the camera and gave many wonderful pictures to choose from.  His mom is particularly fond of this one and is proud to share it with everyone, with Blue's permission, of course.

  • Career Debut!! Faith Loge (Irish Setter) made her show career debut at the Tuscaloosa Kennel Club sanctioned match on January 20, 2008, handled by BKC member Brandi Smith.  Faith owns BKC member Jenn Loge (and has Brandi wrapped around her lead!).  Brandi is so proud of Faith for taking to the show ring so quickly and with such passion and she is honored to be Faith's handler.  Faith has a busy and exciting career ahead of her and we can't wait to see what she accomplishes!  Congratulations to Jenn on breeding such a beautiful litter with two such solid examples of the breed! (picture coming soon!)

  • Best In Match!! Tristan Loge (Irish Setter) won his first "Best" award at the Tuscaloosa Kennel Club sanctioned match on January 20, 2008, taking Best Adult in Match at 13 months of age.  Tristan is handled by BKC member Wayne Senior and owns BKC member Jenn Loge.  Like his sister/ litter mate, Faith, Tristan has an excited career ahead of him, picking up from previous reserve winners dog awards to majors from the puppy classes.  Again, congratulations to Jenn on breeding such a solid litter with striking consistency and similarity across the entire litter.  (picture coming soon!)
